Has anyone noticed that the "Firering" has become as much a source of commentary and interest as the main thread? Very sneaky, that LA!

Not being a long time reader, I can say that I like the Firering better...

I've noticed. Your point?

Not much. I like the variety; think it adds something to the site; and I think it helps the author as he tends to mix things up a little more than just with the thread. That's all.

Just as readers need variety, writers like to keep things fresh too. I imagine after 70-odd posts the LA might be a little tired of doing the same-old same old.

I like the variety. If I want one thing, I go one place. If I want another, I go there. I think more blogs should be grouped in similar fashion, but not in the massive groupings that are common!

First, about groupings. I like technorati. Good groupings there, helps you find what you want. Second, I like it, because more blogs meen more posts to read on a weekly basis. How could that be bad?

More posts is good. I like the double variety. Plus, I find that the firering is dare i say it, better written and more entertaining sometimes?
