Alright, so I know we've all been complaining about crew stories. Mainly becuase after a certain point, they get a ltitle boring, but I have to say, that I enjoyed the first part of this last story because I liked the whole metamorphises analogy thing. I liked how he made the boat a catepillar, so that was some good stuff, in what in my mind has been average lately so I have to give it credit.

Im not gonna agree with everything above, BUT, I did like the mini-homage to Kafka in the opening. Very classly. Not enough Kafka homages lately even though life is very Kafa-eseqe, especially now.

Hahahaha. Good point! I personally was down on the whole comparing a boat to a bug, but if you really thought about it, the boat would have to be upside down for it to work! Do you think that their boast was upside down??????

Dont think so. I think the author was more trying to get people to think, challenge themselves with atypcial metaphors, which was cool. Bugs=boats. Nicely done.
