What's going on? My advice would be to read the previous posts -that always helps me!

Ok,here it is. The thread was about LA joining the crew team. It being a cult(it always is), the weirdness(and boy is it weird), and their trip to their first meet. And let me say, glad to be hearing more about it, I was worried he would drop the thread.

So that's what going on!

Read the post. Come on. Sure, that's helpful, but why read when you can get a mini summary? Thanks Dv!

Thanks - makes more sense now. I did read the posts. I just dont have time to re-read now!
August 2, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterdarkestangel
No worries. I dont see how u can fault someone for forgetting something from two months ago, either, so be cool, people!

Question: has anyone noticed that in 59, and now 60, there was a real fixation by the author on time? Does anyone think that means anything to the larger story - like perhaps time plays into something later on?
August 4, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterhanegansfancy
Wow, going back 2 months! Fancy that. So, I looked back to 59 - haven't read it in a while, to be perfectly honest, and you have a point. Not sure what it means, but, yeah, I see what you're saying!
August 4, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterblayne
It means he needs a clock! That's all!

Haha, that sounds like the kind of retort I would say. I think the answer is probably somewhere in between, but probably not that simple! But good eye to whoever caught that one!

Dangers of overreding - going back two months to a story to connect it with a current story. I wouldnt sweat the connection personally.
August 4, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterexscudo_minor
Yah, but its all part of the grand story, so i wouldnt say overreading necessarily, but i guess it could be, but since its all connected, it could be relevant.
August 4, 2006 | Unregistered Commenter(leda)
Sure, it could be relevant. Lots of things COULD be relevant. It could be relevant to the first episode. I'm sure if we went back and looked at all the time's "time" was mentioned that we might find something to do with the larger story. But then again, like a lot of things, while relevant, it is IRRELEVANT. Don't worry about it!

So what you're saying is that there could b e some sort of secret code in "time" references if we look?
August 4, 2006 | Unregistered Commentertrue_aidian
Sure, if you're some sort of da vinci symbolist that looks for meanings everyhwere. More likely than not, it's nothing, so why look for meaning where there is none?
August 4, 2006 | Unregistered Commenter-bazansfolly-
Good point. Sometimes, I think things - are overanalyzed. I'd just let it be.
August 4, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterGreg
maybe he does need a watch. that's what I think.

Time is an important concept in anyone's life. Ignroe it, and your'e dead. I think that what's giong on.
