The Last Adventurer

Dear Readers; or perhaps I should say remaining readers and future readers!

I realize that I have not been posting for two months now; and I realize this has caused many of you to speculate about the cause of my absence. I wanted to thank all of you for the e-mails, and address some theories that came my direction:

1) I am not dead. Nor gravely ill or injured.
2) I am not planning to take the site off-line anytime soon, nor was I offered a lucrative commercial deal.
3) Unfortunately, no "adventuring" of any sort was occurring during the last two months.

The question therefore becomes where was I, and what was I doing? I was having a less-than-enjoyable time studying for the bar exam. I initially thought that I would have time to study and post, however, that was not the case! Fortunately for all of us, the exam is now over, and I will be posting, and hopefully improving the site in the coming months.

I appreciate your humoring me in this matter, and I appreciate all of the e-mail I received. It was definately entertaining to hear the speculation about the site. I look forward to "finally" producing Episode LX and beyond. As always, I hope you enjoy reading it.

Ummm. I'm thinking no amount of warnings would have helped since he's taking the bar and not going to school. But good idea. Maybe you should take your message to the masses. Oh wait. You already have.

Aw yeah. It's on now. It's the repeat of ye olde random, fighting over silly and ridiculous things. Lawyers are poopy! I make a little over minimum wage in an unrelated field! But at least at night I sleep well.

The interesting thing about being a lawyer is that most lawyers want to switch careers. I read this article a while ago that I think 1/5 bloggers is a lawyer. So I guess the question is is whether the LA a blogger first or a lawyer??? Because we could stand to bring that 20% down!

Forget being a lawyer. Glad to hear that you're coming back to entertain us, LA. I know I've missed your antics. The other blogs I read - not as funny.

I'm not disgruntled. I like my career choice plenty fine when I have an off moment to think about it,every third day or so and I'm not posting on people's blogs. But I am an attorney.(Cue evil music)...

Ok. Well, its obvious to me that people obviously missed the LA as based by this thread since I think it was "here's why I've been gone" and now it's "name my career". Anyhow, welcome back!

I work in the food industry. But I've had to deal with lawyers. Glad to hear that your back LA. Im waiting for some more laughs too.
